Coaching

Training
Every year a Coaches Meeting/Clinic is held and each team is required by Little League International to have at least one representative at this meeting. Additionally, all Team Managers (Head Coaches) are required to be at this meeting at a minimum of one time every 3 years. However, we encourage all Team Managers and Assistant Coaches to attend these as it is a great review of rules, training to keep players safe and we spend time/money to ensure we have qualified people come in to train you.

This meeting is held in February before the start of spring practices.

Resources
Check out the Coach's Resource Center from Little League International. Registration is free. You will have access to a wide variety of coaching tools from how to get your team started to how to teach specific details to the majors. There is something for everyone at this site.

Another useful site for coaching information is QC Baseball. Quality Coaching Baseball provides baseball instruction, baseball drills, coaching philosophy, and other information for youth baseball coaches, players, and parents who want to learn more about playing and coaching baseball.
